OK I understand what y'all're maxim. Y'all have the latch motor and switch removed from the range. I presume you removed the rod from the cam and you can't turn the motor by turning the cam. Correct? They are geared low and past no ways free wheeling like shooting fish in a barrel, only with a lilliputian force, you lot should exist able to turn it past manus. That's probably the problem. Attempt a cheater cord (lamp string with alligator clips or wire terminals on the end) and connect it to the motor directly and run into if she'll turn. I've had a few leave from the rod wearing a notch in the latch lever hole where it connects then every bit the cam goes around and pulls the rod it catches on the notch and jams. I've likewise had the cam article of clothing out in the middle where information technology connects to the motor shaft. And so when it closes the door and pulls on the rod information technology makes the cam turn on an angle and and then in one case again information technology jams. Information technology wouldn't accept much to make one of the internal motor gears do the same thing. I recollect there's between twenty an 50 pocket-size gears within the motor and if one of them was to first turning skeewampus, information technology would jam up the rest and so I doubt you could turn the motor. Yous'll probably need to supercede the door lock motor and switch assembly. Bank check the door latch hole where the rod connects and make sure it's not oblong or a notch worn in one side. Here's a link for both parts. I'1000 not sure simply you'll probably take to replace the part and so the oven will work. Even if you lot bypass the switch I think the control measures the resistance of the motor then you lot'll continue getting an mistake code. Subsequently you replace the part follow the steps for clearing the error codes and then put it into cocky-clean. As before long as you hear the motor finish from locking the door, press Abolish and allow information technology unlock.

Thanks,

On this model I have seen the oven door lock/latch motor assembly either go bad or get stuck to where it does this.

I would check that first, its located in the back of the range, you would need to pull your range out from the wall, then unplug your range, then remove the back access panel.

Here'south the parts diagram: Parts for Whirlpool WFE371LVS0: Chassis Parts

Too check the metal rod that attaches to information technology, to make sure its non jammed too.

#43 is the door lock/latch motor assembly
#42 is the metal rod

Here is the door latch/lock assembly for your model in case yous demand to order it:
