Can you provide the following information which may help determine any event(s):

Windows Cardinal + R > type msinfo32 in the "Open" box > OK > File > Save > so save as an .nfo file

And then brand the resulting .nfo file available via a public folder on OneDrive or like site.

Also, tin you do the following:

Windows Key + R > type eventvwr in the "Open" box > OK > aggrandize "Custom Views" and so right-click "Administrative Events" > select "Save all events in Custom View As" and save every bit an .evtx file

Then brand the resulting .evtx file available via a public binder on OneDrive or similar site.

btw I tested another USB to Ethernet adapter (this one is a Fast Ethernet adapter).

Same probleme : Works fine on the desktop and don't on the laptop. Aforementioned bulletin in Device Manager

Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device. (Code 56)

Can you do the following:

In the Device Manager can you right-click the device giving the Code 56 mistake > Properties > Details, so choose "Class GuiD" from the drib-down card under "Holding".

What is listed nether "Value" ?
